The most famous sport is soccer. It has a wide range of fans and many persons who play it. World and European Cups get a lot of attention in Germany. Soccer players can be seen in some advertising for products like chocolate or sport goods.Besides, Germany won the World Cups in 1954, 1974 and 1990.
Another popular sport in Germany is handball; we won the last World Cup in 2007. This sport is easy to understand and has a lot of movement and action like soccer.
The easiest sport for everyone is bicycling. You will find great roads only for bicycle rider and skaters. In addition to this you will see a lot of people using their bicycle instead of a car also in big cities. The German team also participates in the Tour de France and you can watch it on tv.
Other famous sports are tennis, boxing, swimming, winter sports, horse riding, car races and gymnastics. People like to watch them on tv and Germans enjoy cheering for the national team. But, the hype about these last sports is not as big as the one for soccer or handball.
